Employment Lawyer & Workplace Investigator
Katharine has experience investigating allegations of workplace misconduct, including harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, retaliation, and other breaches of workplace policies, in both unionized and non-unionized environments.
Drawing on her background as a litigator, she has a clear understanding of how investigations are scrutinized by courts, tribunals and arbitrators, and ensures that her findings and credibility assessments are clearly rooted in the evidence and supported by well-reasoned analysis.

While maintaining a strong focus on procedural fairness, she tailors her approach in order to address practical realities and organizational circumstances. In addition to her investigative work, Katharine regularly advises organizations on investigation processes, workplace policies, and best practices for managing complaints and mitigating risk, and provides related training.
