Sara Ali
Employment Lawyer & Workplace Investigator
Sara previously worked at a large healthcare regulator in Ontario, where she reviewed investigation records, analyzed complex evidence, and drafted written decisions for statutory committees. Much of this work involved allegations of professional misconduct and incapacity, including health and regulatory issues. Prior to that, she worked at a boutique employment litigation firm, as well as in a legal clinic representing clients before courts and administrative tribunals. In these roles, she worked directly with clients, gathered and reviewed documentary and medical evidence, prepared matters for hearings and litigation, and assisted in resolving complex disputes. She also summered in-house at large organizations where she worked on compliance, corporate governance, and policy drafting matters.
Sara holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Manitoba and a Juris Doctor from the Lincoln Alexander School of Law at Toronto Metropolitan University, and she is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
