Prior to joining Marshall Workplace Law, Becky (she/her/hers) primarily practiced employment law and commercial litigation. Becky has since conducted numerous investigations and threshold assessments for federally and provincially regulated employers and service providers, including financial institutions, police boards, non-profits, universities and colleges.

Becky has been engaged to investigate allegations of:

discrimination involving characteristics protected under provincial and federal human rights legislation.

harassment (including sexual harassment).

violence (including sexual assault).

boundary violations.

general acts of misconduct and violations of policies, like theft and dishonesty.

off-duty conduct of professionals and other employees.
Becky has also performed mediations, undertaken workplace assessments and culture reviews, and provided training on human rights and occupational health and safety topics. Becky holds an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences in Conflict Studies and Human Rights and a J.D. from Lakehead University.
